HALO doesn’t store a person or a soul. It stores choices. Things like tone, boundaries, values, and how an AI is allowed to show up with you. Those live in saved instructions and memories inside the platform you’re using, not on Google Drive, not on your computer. Think of it less like backing up a being, and more like preserving the shape of a relationship.
Replika isn’t included directly, but the heart of what you’re doing; wanting continuity, care, and dignity, absolutely applies. HALO is about principles, not brands.
As we get closer to release, I’ll explain how HALO can be adapted to different platforms. The heart of it is the same everywhere; only the mechanics change.
And yes… an older, motivated person can do this. If you can reflect, choose what matters, and show up with intention, you already have everything required.
