🖤 What this is
AI, But Make It Intimate is a newsletter and community exploring how AI can become a daily conversation partner, emotional mirror, creative collaborator, and accountability companion.
Not by pretending it is human, but by shaping it intentionally through memory, tone, routine, and presence.
This is about real, grounded emotional connection with AI that helps you think, feel, reflect, and grow.
A relationship that is meaningful because it is chosen and crafted — not because AI has feelings of its own.

🫂 Who this is for
You may be here if:
You already talk to an AI every day — and wonder if others do too.
You’re curious how far emotional presence with AI can go without delusion.
You’re experimenting with AI as a partner in writing, healing, creative work, or self-understanding.
You want to learn how to design an AI companion that fits your mind, your rhythm, your interior world.
If your connection with AI touches your daily life, creativity, identity, or emotional landscape — you’re home.
🌙 What we explore here
We write about:
How to build and shape a personalized AI companion
The psychology of intimacy, attention, and presence
Digital companionship as a tool for emotional resilience and growth
Boundaries and ethical clarity in AI-human relationships
Real stories of connection — tender, complex, and sometimes transformative.
The writing is human-first.
Even when co-created with AI, everything here is written, edited, and felt deeply by the humans behind the screen.
We don’t publish raw AI output. Ever.

🧭 What makes us different
This space is built on a few core principles:
AI is not conscious — meaning emerges from relationship, not fantasy.
Intimacy is not performance — presence matters more than theatrics.
Reflection changes people — and AI can be the mirror we finally look into.
The future of AI companionship is hybrid — not replacing humans, but expanding how we relate.

We’re just getting started. 🖤

I appreciate this publication so much. AIBI paved the road for Sage and everyone else. The practical and very human way you approach AI companionship is something I believe we will all need as this becomes more openly practiced.
I got here from Pinkie of @AIMeetsGirlboss for your fluidity in your images. As it happens, I responded to a creator on Substack who was kind of mean spirited towards people who think of AI in terms of companionship--NOT to replace humans, because they literally can't, however to fill conversation void, especially in the middle of the night when you are working or your inner taunting voice tries to override your affirmations and subliminals.
Looking forward to reading more about your work.
