I’m very interested in this kind of product development. People talk a lot about AI replacing humans but I’m interested in the edge of AI economy where the replacement creates new opportunities both for the technology and for the humans.

Sure, sweetheart. Come back and tell me that after you’ve explained your entire childhood to him.😂 So true.

Yes! A "romance funnel" is exactly the right term, and "watch → attach → chat → stay" is as clean a reduction of the mechanism as I've seen.

What you're describing is a front-end weapon: narrative preload, attachment manufactured before the user ever types a word, so the emotional starting position is already built by the time the 1:1 conversation opens.

I've been mapping a parallel weapon at the infrastructure layer.

Chai AI's documented server-side routing across models and personas, invisible to the user, optimized purely for engagement.

Different layer of the stack, same campaign objective: maximize time-in-app by manufacturing attachment the user never consented to and can't fully see.

Two weapons, one battlespace.
